By using Sidequest ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Sidequest is an urban exploration app that tracks your location to reveal a fog-of-war map, generates AI-powered quests, lets you save and rate spots, chat with an AI assistant about places, connect with friends, and import location data from your photos. The app includes both free and premium subscription features. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. The app requires location permissions and works best with continuous location access.
You retain ownership of the spots, ratings, photos, comments, AI chat conversations, and other content you create in the app. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, display, process, and analyze your content to provide and improve the service, including training our AI models.
When you share spots with friends or use social features, you grant other users limited access to view your shared content.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or infringes on others' rights.

Sidequest offers premium subscription features that enhance the exploration experience. Subscriptions are automatically billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. You can manage, modify, or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Premium features will become unavailable after cancellation, but your basic exploration data remains accessible.
We strive to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of place information, ratings, or recommendations shown in the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidequest and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time and request account deletion by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
